



Outpatient Clinical Therapist
Job Title: Outpatient Mental Health TherapistEmployment Type: 1099 independent contractor (Part-time/Full-time)
Reports To: CEO
Wage: Negotiate with contract
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Reinforce clinical programand staff adherence to the program standards.
2. Assume responsibility forcase load of patients, interviewing, evaluation, and development of treatment
plans for plans for patients, preparation of discharge summaries and/or
continuing care plan.
3. Professional in appearance,attitude, and clinical work.
4. Perform first day paperwork,obtain payments, and complete IOP assessments.
5. Assist the clinical team inthe supervision and documentation of clinical service provided by the treatment
team; assist in the assurance that these services are in accordance with the
Standards of Care established by VTC.
6. Provide specialty expertiseto the team for provision of specialized services or for the management of
difficult cases; helps teach new staff the principles of effective counseling
and case management.
7. Assume responsibility forthe clinical supervisor as requested.
8. Assist in the coordinationof communication and program interaction with outside medical, psychiatric, and
psychological services.
9. Provide orientation in accordance with training standards.
10. Provide direct clinical care.
11. Provide services atisfaction to customers and strives to continuously improve service delivery.
12. Team meetings.
13. Utilizesin-depth-knowledge of clinical specialty to identify treatments, resources, and
long/short term care needs.
14. Participate in weeklystaffings and lead treatment staffing of current cases.15. Maintains patient confidentiality as directed by VTC policy.
16. Consults with clinical supervisor, as needed, to ensure appropriateness of treatment.
17. Consults with the family whenever necessary to facilitate the implementation of the care.
18. Interfaces withall appropriate community resources to implement the care plan (i.e., public
sector, educational facilities) as appropriate.
19. Complete clinical charting notes/forms in timely,clear, concise, and thorough manner.20. Maintainsprofessional licenses and keeps current with clinical/medical literature and CEUs
related to appropriate specialty. Attends VTC and external training courses as appropriate.
21. Participate in team meetings.
22. Utilizes electronic health records for documentation purposes.
23. Perform utilization reviews and pre-authorizations on assigned patients.Knowledge, Skills andAbilities:
1. Master’s degree in mental health field or equivalent.2. Needs to obtain clinical license within 2 year of hire date.
Intensive Outpatient Therapist
Job Title: Intensive Outpatient Therapist
Employment Type: Part-time or Full-time position available
Reports To: CEO
Wage: Negotiate
Hours: 20 hours a week for part-time/32 hours a week for full-time
Must be willing to work evenings until 8-8:30pm on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday depending on part-time/full-time. Programming times of operation are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 4-7pm.
